Chain mail, also known as maille, is the practice of joining metal rings together to form a pattern. The origins of chain mail go back centuries to ancient times where maille was used as a form of armor. In the modern age the methods of joining rings have been used for art and jewelry as well as reenactments.
Who is Kinshar?
Kinshar is a pseudonym of the artist of this site. He’s a bit shy around strangers.

He is based in Binghamton, NY far from the hustle bustle of NYC, Buffalo, and Syracuse. Kinshar likes it here.

Can I get your existing designs in custom sizes?
Yes. Kinshar will shorten or lengthen any piece by up to two inches, at no extra cost. Make sure to email him before ordering, so he knows what you’re after!
